· What is the raw material of recycled paper?

We do not recycle used toilet paper. This way you can get out of the sewer! Our recycled toilet paper is made from 100% recycled post-consumer paper, the same recycled office paper already in circulation. It's the most environmentally friendly (and cost-effective) toilet paper we've ever produced.

· Why produce recycled toilet paper?

Forest resources are limited, and they are not a treasure trove that cannot be emptied. Using waste paper to produce recycled paper is a recyclable process.

The environmental pollution caused to the atmosphere and water quality during the pulping process of recycled paper is greatly reduced compared with ordinary paper. Producing 1 ton of paper pulp requires 100 tons (wood pulp) to 400 tons (straw pulp) of water, and most of this sewage must be discharged. The black liquor produced by papermaking is the most serious pollution, with 10 tons of black liquor discharged for every ton of pulp produced. The wastewater produced by papermaking contains a large amount of carbohydrates, proteins, oils and lignin. These substances are easy to decompose under the action of microorganisms. During the decomposition process, a large amount of oxygen is consumed, which reduces the oxygen content in the water and affects the growth of fish and other aquatic organisms.

After the dissolved oxygen in the water is exhausted, the water is in an anaerobic state. Under the action of anaerobic bacteria, organic matter produces unpleasant and toxic gases such as hydrogen sulfide, ammonia and mercaptans, which worsens the water quality. Recycled paper can reduce wastewater discharge by 50% during the manufacturing process. In particular, it can eliminate several processes in the early stages of papermaking and will not produce the most polluting black liquor, which is greatly reduced.

According to information provided by papermaking experts and environmental protection experts: one ton of waste paper can produce 850 kilograms of good-quality recycled paper, save 3 cubic meters of wood (equivalent to 26 3 to 4-year-old trees), and save 300 kilograms of chemical raw materials. It consumes 1.2 tons of coal, saves 600 degrees of electricity, and can reduce a large amount of waste.
